British east coast. Cleethorpes Lincs.

A collection of images I took on the east coast with a bunch of great people.

It has become an annual event now, Dan Baker the guy synonymous with seaside photography primarily along the coast of his hometown Cleethorpes hosts a meet up for photographers.

I have attended two and each has seen a big turnout filled with great laughs and the occasional photo. My style of “street photography” is usually less busy and not full of people like most, yet more of the banal and beauty in the mundane. This will be evident in the shots you see from this little series.

The first set of images below are all taken in the first few hours of the meet up, I decided to come away from the packed out beach and head towards the town where I come across more of what it must be like living there. I then made my way back to the group and took a few more frames closer to the action.

The second part of the day was just as fun, I would highly recommend joining Dan’s email list or following him on Instagram to find out when the next one might be.

This next section is when we all met at the fantastic pub called “Message in a bottle”.We took the time to share what we had captured, but most importantly enjoyed each others company and talk about what we are most passionate about.
